The course encapsulates more than 40 years of research and offers an efficient introduction to the science of reading for a variety of educators – teachers (new and veteran), administrators, instructional coaches, school and district leaders, curriculum and instruction directors, pre-service teacher candidates, and pre-service faculty whose training may not have adequately prepared them for evidence-based instruction in reading.
